IMPORTANT:
In this tutorial we are replacing the original hard drive with a new SSD hard drive. Please make sure that if you are using this tutorial to reload the OS on the original hard drive that you backup all of your data before proceeding.

Materials?Needed:

  • SSD Harddrive
  • USB Thumb Drive
  • Small phillips screwdriver
  • Torx T6 Screwdriver

Copy paste command line below in terminal.

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/OSXElCapitan --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app --nointeraction
